Zombie Book Display

I work at a library and did a Book Display about Zombies. The first picture is what you see when you first see the display. I was able to get these zombie hands from Amazon. The tombstone was printed from a special printer that we recently got. It prints up to 22 inches and was perfect for giving my display the perfect touch. I worked really hard on this display to make it awesome and I hope everybody else likes it as well.

I really like the Warning Please Do Not Feed the Zombies sign. It lets you know right away what the display is about. Plus there is the whole tombstone and hands sticking out of the floor. The rest of the flooring is some old grey fabric we had and some of the extra spider webs that I had. Both the sign and the tombstone were found using google images. Pretty much anything I printed off came from using google.

The I heart Zombies sign is all me - I am a huge Zombie fan. Books, movies, tv, anything and everything Zombie.

I spent some time on google finding coloring pages that were zombie. I have a bunch of zombified pages. The picture shows the corpse bride, a zombie unicorn, and a zombie my little pony. I also have a zombiefied dragon, dog, and cat. It's a library so I kept the images cute and not gory.

When I came to change the display the previous person just draped the spider webs over it. It took quite a bit of time, but I pulled and arranged the spider webs so you can see them, but be able to pull the books out as well.

The left picture is the back side of my display and the picture below is the other side of the display. This side has children's books while the other side that is pictured above has Young Adult and Adult Zombie Books. I will admit I had to ask our children's librarian to order some more kids zombie books. We really didn't have that many and that was a shame.

I didn't originally plan to make the tombstone for my display, but once I was done it was lacking a bit and the tombstone was just the thing to make it awesome. As an aside, our library has been putting out coloring pages for Adults and Children to color. They can color in the library or take them home and color. It's really their choice and has become pretty popular with the patrons. I know each day we fill between 50-100 page in different parts of the library. I just added some spark by having my display have zombie themed pages and boy, do they go quick!
